Transition Towns Kapiti’s goal is “to advance the transition of Kapiti communities to greater local resilience to offset current global challenges such as oil scarcity & environmental degradation.”

We aim to do this by

• raising awareness of the need to transition,
• networking so that skills and resources are shared,
• hosting workshops which present ways to live with reduced energy & consumption
